RONALD REAGAN

SPITTING IMAGE PUPPET RESTORATION 

 

This is an original Ronald Reagan Spitting Image puppet head which came to me from The National Puppetry Archive collection.

 

The puppet head was in a pretty terrible state before being rescued by Michael. He had been exposed to a lot of direct sunlight which is the worst conditions for these puppets. 

 

I restored Ronald Reagan to be sympathetic to its authentic condition, maintaining the original features and paint work and ageing the restored areas appropriately.
